Nova was a mute human female from the mid 40th century. She was captured during the gorilla hunt and imprisoned with time traveler George Taylor in Dr. Zira’s animal clinic. She later escaped with Taylor but the two split apart when Taylor was captured by a colony of underground mutants. Nova then discovered another time traveler named Brent, and accompanied him on a mission to find Taylor. Nova and Taylor were briefly reunited, but she was shot and killed by gorilla soldiers during a raid on the mutant underground.
